My first Morning Prayer practicum was held Thursday May 6th<\/sup> via Zoom with three of my Emmaus brothers and my wife and two of her Emmaus grouping sisters, and, of course, our Rector, Reverend Canon Doctor John Steele. I had earlier taken the service leaflet from the previous Sunday and adapted it to Morning Prayer. You will find a pdf of the service linked here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reverend John gave me some links to resources he uses including apps like\u00a0Time to Pray<\/a>,\u00a0Reflections for Daily Prayer<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Daily Prayer App<\/a>. We also discussed the\u00a0Sermons that Work<\/a>,\u00a0Anglicans Online<\/a>, the\u00a0Diocese of Lincoln Homily Project<\/a>, the\u00a0College of Preachers<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0New Pilgrim Path<\/a>\u00a0online websites. Other online resources John mentioned include\u00a0Roots on the Web<\/a>, the\u00a0World Council of Churches Ecumenical Prayer Cycle<\/a>, the\u00a0Diocese of Toronto<\/a>\u00a0website and the\u00a0Church of England<\/a>\u00a0website.
